The Skillveri approach to Skill Training.

Industries across the world are increasingly modernising their production techniques, but the work force required to handle such modernised technology are still trained largely using conventional methodologies that do not keep pace with the needs of the industries.

Skillveri aims to bridge the gap in skill training with its modern, eXtended Reality technology. Skillveri believes in the motto of “practice until you can’t make a mistake”, hence we enable better quality vocational skill training at significantly lesser costs.

Conventional Skill-Training tends to focus more on theory at all stages of the training process – Admission, Training, and Placement. Skillveri’s simulator based approach focuses on practical training in real-world scenarios, and ensures a very high degree of skill transfer.

simulator based approach to skill training

The admission to a simulator based training program would begin with an assessment of the learner’s dexterity levels using simulators, instead of being based on the marks in theoretical high school exams which have no means of indicating practical skills.

Conventional methods of training involve largely more theory and less practice – which is even more limited by the cost of consumables and time available.

Skillveri simulators are learner-centric. With 80% savings in consumables, and by reducing the time needed for training to about 1/3rd of conventional training, Skillveri simulators enable the trainee to ‘practice until you can’t make a mistake’.

Skillveri’s XR technology brings an exact match between real world and virtual, making it possible to train for hours without VR sickness. Wearing the 3D XR helmet immerses the trainee in a virtual world with a clear perception of depth, the space around them is transformed into a real life scenario.

A structured, step-by-step learning process makes the learner focus on one skill set thoroughly before moving on to the next.

During the training the simulator shows a live, intuitive, corrective feedback. At the end of the session, there is a detailed scorecard that analyses the performance, showing all that has been done correctly, where all the trainee has made mistakes, and tracks all the hand movements of the trainee with colour coded indications of right and wrong.

The unique gamified approach makes the learning process fun and competitive for the trainees, while the pictorial, icon-based interface overcomes language barriers and makes learning intuitive.

Skillveri simulators enable trainers to systematically structure their courses by changing the parameters and saving them as customised settings based on their needs.

Industries have the option of choosing complex, customised work pieces suited to their specific scenarios.

At the end of the training program the learner is given a ‘Skill Score’ on the simulator, instead of theoretical tests. The score provides a more accurate assessment of how well the learner will be able to perform in real life after the training on the simulator.

Skillveri simulators are constantly upgraded according to the latest trends in technology and learning fields. We believe in creating a world of skilled workers in the shortest time possible, with no scope for errors.
