Kannan Lakshminarayan, Co-founder & Advisor – Mechatronics
Kannan is a “parallel” entrepreneur and award winning innovator. He is also the Founder & CTO of Vortex and Managing Trustee of Fractal Foundation. Kannan has a track-record of successful development and commercialisation of customized solutions in the domain of electro-mechanical engineering, particularly for contexts that are price-sensitive and demand high reliability. He engages widely with grass-root level organizations and NGOs working with rural poor on sustainable solutions that improve quality of life, from whom he draws inspiration for pioneering new solutions that hold the promise of scalable impact.
Sabarinath C Nair, CEO
Sabari started working on deeptech at the start of his career, and moved to technology marketing and product management at Vortex, the world’s pioneer in energy efficient ATMs.
Together with Kannan Lakshminarayan (Founder of Vortex and serial inventor in mechatronics space), he founded Skillveri to solve the skillgap problems (lack of a trustable score for hands-on skills, and scalable methods to train), and to use XR and analytics to provide error-free dexterity to manufacturing industry.
After starting up at IIT Madras, Skillveri has become the world’s leading player in the XR multi-skill simulation space, and has won many awards including the National Innovations for Skills Challenge of NSDC, Ministry of Skill Development, Govt of India.
He is also on the Prime Minister’s Champions of Change panel on EdTech & Skills.
Ramki Subramanian – Managing Director, North America
Ramki Subramanian is a seasoned executive with over 30 years of international leadership experience across the chemicals, advanced materials, and energy sectors, bringing deep expertise in strategy development, technology commercialization, innovation management, and global business transformation. He has led multi-million-dollar investments and built scalable business platforms at some of the world’s most respected organizations, including Dow Chemical and Reliance Industries. Post his industrial career, he launched Indus Strategy Partners LLC, where he works with small and medium scale enterprises to develop and commercialize their technologies. He also served as an Adjunct Professor at AcSIR (India), where he taught graduate students in taking ideas from “Concept to Commercialization,” reflecting his belief in academic-industry collaboration as a driver of sustainable growth. He holds a Ph.D. in Physical Organic Chemistry from Loyola University of Chicago and a B.Sc. Tech in Paint Technology from UDCT, Bombay, and is based in the United States.
Manu Iyer – Strategist
Manu is an experienced strategist and early-stage investor who has backed multiple deep-tech startups through Bluehill Capital, where he is the Managing Partner. He holds an MBA in Finance & Strategy from Duke University Fuqua School of Business, and BTech in Electrical Engineering from IIT Madras.
Chandrasekhar Rajagopalan – Advisor – financial strategy
Chandrasekhar is a qualified Chartered Accountant, Company Secretary and Cost Accountant having 45 Years + experience holding key positions in Business, General Management, Marketing, Manufacturing, Business Transformation, Finance and Mergers/Acquisitions. A passionate believer in motivating people for success, he has successfully managed business in India and various global markets in a cross- cultural environment.
He has diverse industry experience in business both in India and abroad with Reliance Industries, Essel Packaging, Lupin and Tatas. As a Leader and Member of Leadership Teams, he has worked and lead business across India, North and Latin America, Europe, Russia, China and Egypt. He has wide experience in cross border M&A, business transformation, delivering results in a cross-cultural environment.
Atul Jagadish – Vice President-Business Development
Atul leads the global sales and operations team at Skillveri, bringing over 12 years of experience in operations across diverse industries. His professional background includes roles in marketing, sales, finance, and investment banking.
As an experienced entrepreneur and with an MBA from the Indian School of Business, Atul combines practical expertise with strong business acumen.
Rejitha R Nair – GM-Software
Rejitha heads the software development at Skillveri’s India headquarters in Chennai. She has been associated with Skillveri since its inception, initially working with the software team before taking on bigger operations role. She brings a total experience of 17 years across different roles in technology and management. Prior to working with Skillveri, Rejitha was an officer at State Bank of India, and a software developer at Fractal Foundation and 3i-infotech.
Deepa Umesh – Creative Head
Deepa Umesh heads the Creative team at Skillveri. A multimedia professional with post- graduation in media studies. She is backed by over 24 years of expertise spanning in advertising, media, design and sports with a particular focus on Metaverse and XR technologies. She has worked with clients across the globe. She is passionate about introducing young minds to industry 4.0 along with mainstream education.
