Who we are
Skillveri is a tech pioneer that started in IIT Madras (India’s top engineering university) and built a VR and XR based multi-skill simulation platform to provide training for key manufacturing sector skills. The spray painting simulation on our platform has become the world’s most used simulator, and the welding simulator is India’s most used. We are constantly adding more skills to our pipeline, with our current offerings including solar panel installation, HVAC/AC repair, etc.

Why
Hands-on vocational skills are costly to train entirely by conventional methods – simulation provides additional benefits like ability to understand mistakes and their impact on the output quality. Moreover, the “simulator integrated” method of training is eco-friendly and also saves a lot of costs on consumables. Simulators also reduce the training time needed to perfect the skill, making it possible to train a much larger number of students in a given time frame.
Etymology
The beauty of the name Skillveri is that it can be read in either of the two classical languages, Tamil or Latin. In Tamil, the name stands for acquiring skills with utmost passion; in Latin the name stands for the right/authentic skill (veri being the root word for verify). Ultimately, we want to Skillverify all vocational skills.
