Psychophysics Approach for Effective Skill Transfer

The uniqueness of Skillveri’s approach to simulators is that the focus is on Skill Transfer – how much is the learner able to perform better in the real world after practicing on the simulator. Therefore the learner is at the centre of the design of our simulators, using the principles of psychophysics.

When humans acquire a skill they use their sense organs as inputs and react to the sensations. For a skill like welding, senses of vision, hearing and touch (including force feedback) are utilized extensively. Skillveri’s training approach uses relevant feedback mechanisms sans any distractions to ensure maximum skill transfer.
